Guelph Farmers' Market

2 Gordon St.; 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Check out an abundance of fresh produce, baked goods, beverages and products from local meat producers. 

Eramosa River Trail parkrun and parkwalk

Eramosa River Trail, 85 York Rd.; 9 a.m. to noon

The free weekly timed 5K run, jog or walk kicks off just east of the covered wooden bridge near The Boathouse. Newcomers are encouraged to join at 8:45 a.m. 

Three Willows Spring Market

Three Willows United Church, 577 Willow Rd.; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be numerous vendors selling their wares, as well as a plant sale and a compost sale.

Elora Festival Annual Giant Book Sale

Elora Curling Club, 60 David St. W., Elora; 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Over 50,000 used books, games, LPs, CDs, DVDs and more. Cash only. Free admission on Saturday and Sunday.

Spring Cleaning for a Cause

St. Paul School Catholic School parking lot, 182 Clairfields Dr. E.; 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

This event features donation drives for clothes and small household items (given to Hope House and Goodwill), as well as food for the Guelph Food Bank. There will also be a junk disposal bin and secure document shredding available. A community barbecue lunch will be offered, with proceeds given to the Guelph Food Bank.

Flora’s Walk

Meet at Hanlon Creek Park, 505 Kortright Rd. W.; 10:30 a.m.

Participants will take a one to three-kilometre walk through Preservation Park and raise money for The Angel Fund, provided through The WOMB Guelph, and the Canadian Perinatal Mental Health Collaborative. The walk is named in honour of Flora Babakhani, a mother who died in 2022 due to untreated postpartum psychosis.

Pet Parent Day Market

349 Elizabeth Street; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Take your pup by the Tri-City Bee Rescue this Sunday for a special photo area, a puppy bubble zone and pet snack makers and creators who have custom gear for sale. One Leg Up Training will be there to answer all your training questions. There will also be on-site nail trimming and tons more. Learn more here

Community Climate Forum

Italian Canadian Club, 135 Ferguson St.; 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Featuring a variety of guest speakers, this forum is meant to educate attendees about Guelph’s gaps in response to climate change and how they can reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Hosted by the Guelph Climate Action Network. To register for the free event, visit here.

Chess In The Park

Eramosa River Trail, 85 York Rd.; 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

This is the first outdoor event of the year from ChessPals. Several sets will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring one too. This is a free event.

Guelph Correctional Centre Grounds Historical Tour

Former Ontario Reformatory (meet at front gate), 785 York Rd.; 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Take a guided tour around the former jail site and hear about the development and past of each of the existing buildings and other events that took place at the property, including stories of inmates, residents and employees. Participation is by donation.

TNT Boxing Live Event

171 Dawson Rd. unit 2; 6 p.m.

An evening of competition sanctioned by Boxing Ontario.
