In tears we saw you sinking and watched you pass away.
Our hearts were almost broken but we knew you couldn't stay;
And when we saw you sleeping, so peaceful, free from pain;
How could we wish you back with us to suffer that again.
We know that God has taken you to live with Him above,
That comforts us that you're at rest in His abiding love.
Forever loved by your family!
