Guelph Fire Department don't know the cause of a Wednesday afternoon car fire, but fire prevention officer Brian Johnston said it is not suspicious in nature and no one was injured.
"The owner had gone into the store and come out to find their vehicle was on fire," said Johnston by phone Wednesday.
Multiple 911 calls alerted Guelph Fire Department of the fire at a plaza on Silvercreek parkway at Willow Road, with the first call coming in at 1:27 p.m.
Johnston noted that Guelph Police were also on the scene and that the fire department will not be investigating the cause further.
"It was definitely not suspicious," said Johnston.
