A house on Stevenson Street North was making the walk to school a little sweeter for students this morning.

The residents of the home had placed a tree branch in a large pot and hung bags of chocolates from the branches for passing students to help themselves.

"Be my Valentine! Students please take one" read a sign attached to a nearby telephone pole.

The random act of kindness was happening at 93 Stevenson St. N., just north of Grange Road.
