Residents of locked down zones can’t rebook cancelled drivers’ licence tests in Guelph and other non-locked down areas, the province announced Thursday afternoon.
The move comes after in-vehicle road tests were cancelled in Toronto and Peel, which put into lockdown on Monday due to the rise in COVID-19 cases.
Several Guelph residents raised concerns on social media regarding the potential for people to make their way here from those hotspot areas.
Cancelled tests can be rebooked when their region moves into a lower COVID-19 level.
