April 24, 1953 - May 4, 2024

Anđelija Dabic, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2024, at Hospice Wellington surrounded by her family.

Born on April 24, 1953, in Bosnia, Anđelija's journey through life took her from Croatia to Serbia and eventually to Canada in 1998, where she embraced new beginnings with her devoted husband, Nenad Dabić, by her side. Together, they shared 51 years of marriage, filled with love, laughter, and unwavering companionship.

Anđelija was a pillar of strength and love for her family. She was the devoted mother of Nenad (Marijana) and Tatjana Gavrilov (Novak), whose lives were enriched by her boundless love, guidance, and support. Anđelija's greatest joy came from being a grandmother to Luka, Nikolas, and Tamara, whom she adored beyond measure.

Anđelija's kindness, warmth, and love extended to her siblings, particularly her brother Slavko and his family. She cherished the bonds of family and was a source of comfort and love to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed by many extended family and friends.

Anđelija's passion for gardening brought joy and beauty into the world around her. She was known as "Super Grandma" for her boundless energy and infectious laughter, and her legacy of love will continue to bloom in the hearts of all who were touched by her presence.

Anđelija Dabić was more than an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother; she was a beacon of light whose memory will forever brighten the lives of those she leaves behind.

She is preceded in death by her parents Savo and Zorka Pucarevic and her brother Gojko. Though she may no longer be with us, Anđelija's spirit will live on in the hearts of her loved ones, and her memory will be cherished for eternity.

May she rest in peace, surrounded by the beauty of the gardens she tended and the love of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

A visitation for Anđelija will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon St., Guelph) with the Funeral Service to follow in the chapel at 12:00 noon.  Committal Service at Woodlawn Memorial Park will take place at 1:30. After the burial, all are invited to a reception at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel at 2:30.

Donations made to Hospice Wellington or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
