With heavy hearts and sadness we announce the passing of Savina Agnes
Piccin at the age of 76. She confronted her illness with strength and
courage. She passed away peacefully at Wellington Terrace, Fergus on June
28, 2020.
Savina was the loving mother of Lee Piccin, Jay Piccin and Amy Raso (Graham).

Savina is survived by her sister Laura Uliana (Leno), Sister-in-law
Pierina Scatamburlo and predeceased by her parents Angelo and Clara
Scatamburlo and siblings Renato Scatamburlo and Avelina Verardo (Angelo).
Savina (Ceci) will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins,
great-nieces and great-nephews, in the Guelph, Hamilton, Windsor, and Cape
Breton areas.
A special thank you to all of the amazing and wonderful staff at
Wellington Terrace, who not only treated our mother with kindness,
compassion and the utmost respect, but treated her whole family in the
same regard. We are eternally grateful for the care they gave her,
accepting and making her a part of their home. We would especially like to
thank Elise Seitz for all of her support during our time at Wellington
Terrace. Also thank you to Dr. John Stickney for his calm and
compassionate nature.
We cannot forget to mention the incredible staff at The Guelph Renal
Clinic. Dr. Friedman, Sally, Bernadette, Susan, were angels on earth when
it came to helping our mother with her renal care. These women embraced
our family with kindness the moment we met them and kept supporting our
family and our mother all of the way through with guidance, patience and
compassion. There are not enough thanks for this amazing team of wonderful
women and Dr. Friedman.

Her family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral
Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., for a private invite only funeral. Due
to Covid 19 restrictions. Masks must be worn by all visitors and please
stay in your vehicles until your appointed time, if you have been invited
by the family. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kidney
Foundation or Canadian Mental Health Foundation would be appreciated by
the family. Cards are available at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral
Home (519-821-5077)
