John left us peacefully at Guelph General Hospital at the age of 98.
He will now be reunited with his beloved wife Joan (2008).
Predeceased by his parents and brothers Steve, Joe and Frank. Survived by his sisters Anne and Mary. He will be greatly missed by his children Wayne (Darlene), Raymond, Gary (Elaine), Brenda (Paul) and Cindy. Cherished grandfather to Jason (Amber), Tasha (Daryl), Cory (Amy), Kyle (Jenna), Adam (Kayla) and Sara (Brendan). Proud Great Grandpa to Kennedy, Chase, Cole, Liam, Nolan, Addison, Emilia, Calvin and River.
Though he may no longer be with us John will live on in the hearts of all his loved ones and his memory will be cherished for eternity.
A visitation for John will be held Friday, May 10, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Hart Chapel (1099 Gordon St.) followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM. Cremation to follow.
Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
