Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 in her 88th year.
Beloved wife of the late Fred Sommer (2009). Loving mother of Helen (Gabriel) Artuso and Renee (Leo) Pellizzari. “Grammie” to Nathan (Kendra) Klym, Anton (Fawn) Artuso, Kaela (Scott) Clark and Erik Artuso. Great grandmother to three girls: Reed, Tegan and Hazel. Predeceased by her sister Friedel Luft in Germany. She will be missed by nieces, cousins, and other family in Canada and Germany.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff at the Guelph General Hospital (7th floor) and the Rehab and Palliative Care units at Freeport Hospital.
