CRIME OF THE WEEK: Clerk threatened, cash stolen during robbery

At approximately 10 p.m. on Tuesday April 30 2024, a robbery occurred at a business, located near Eramosa Road and Victoria Road North in Guelph.

A male entered a convenience store, grabbed a can of pop, and went up to the register to pay for the item. He then jumped over the counter, threatened the clerk implying he had a concealed weapon, and demanded money. Stolen was an undisclosed amount of cash.

The male suspect was last seen fleeing on foot, and is described as black, about 6’1”, with an athletic build, wore a white cloth around his head and a white surgical mask. He was wearing a white tank top, blue jeans, and dark shoes.
