TOWN OF ERIN - On Sept. 24, 2020 at approximately 6:30 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a vehicle collision at the intersection of Trafalgar Road North (Wellington Road 24) and Sideroad 10 in the Town of Erin.

It was reported that a boom lift and a passenger vehicle had collided.

Emergency Service responded. The driver of the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The operator of the boom did not require medical care.

The deceased has been identified as Lloyd Cockburn, 59 years old, of Georgetown.

Wellington County OPP is asking anyone that may have witnessed the collision to please call 1-888-310-1122.
