Guelph police are investigating after an employee of a downtown business was spat upon Wednesday morning.
Approximately 7:30 a.m. the employee observed a male inside the business who had previously been banned. The employee approached the male and asked him to leave. As they were walking together towards the exit the male turned and spat, striking the employee on the arm and pants.
The involved male is known to the victim but has not yet been located.
