School confrontation leads to assault charge for Guelph teen

On Feb. 25, 2020, a teenage female confronted another female student in the hallway of a high school in the City of Guelph, threatening to harm her. After a brief exchange, the students went their separate ways.

Later that day while waiting for the bus, the female again confronted the victim, this time punching her in the face.

The victim did not require medical treatment.

On March 2, at 2:10 p.m., police located the female on school property and she was subsequently arrested.

A 14 year old Guelph female has been charged with:

  • Assault
  • Utter Death Threats
  • Breach Probation

She will appear in court on April 15.
