Two of three suspects have now been charged in connection with a downtown church break-in last month.
The second arrest, a 49-year-old Guelph man, was made Friday.
On the morning of April 24, an employee of the church, which provides meals and refuge to marginalized city residents, reported a break-in the previous evening. About $7,600 in electronics were taken.
It’s believed three suspects hid inside the church until it closed, explains a police news release.
Last Monday, a 23-year-old Guelph woman was arrested downtown and charged with break, enter and commit theft.
Efforts to identify the third suspect, a male, continue.
