Stolen Mercedes located with 147 grams of marijuana inside

Some time between 9:30 and 10:15 a.m. on Sept. 19, 2020, a dark grey 2011 Mercedes S550 was taken from the driveway of a residence located near the intersection of Gordon Street and Kortright Road West in the City of Guelph. The vehicle was left unlocked with a set of keys inside the glove compartment.

On Sept. 23 at 4:06 p.m., police located the vehicle parked near the intersection of Speedvale Avenue East and Stevenson Street North. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle now contained 147.1 grams of marijuana.

The investigation is ongoing.
