On Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at approximately 6:20 pm, Guelph Police Service Drug Unit officers and Tactics and Rescue Unit officers arrested two males and a female in relation to an ongoing drug investigation at a commercial plaza parking lot on Willow Rd., in the City of Guelph.
One of the males suffered serious injuries as a result of the interaction with police. He was treated for his injuries and released from the Guelph General Hospital.
The Guelph Police Service notified the province’s Special Investigations Unit (SIU), which has invoked its mandate.
