Guelph Police responded to 206 calls for service

The following news releases were issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Blue Infinity QX80 stolen
Some time between 1:20 and 6:50 a.m. on March 11, 2020, a car dealership located near the intersection of Woodlawn Road West and Michener Road in the City of Guelph was entered. The front glass door was smashed in, the key room was entered, a lock box was pried open and numerous keys were taken.

A blue 2020 Infinity QX80 (valued at $90,000) was then taken from a nearby parking lot.

Male arrested after failing to re-attend court
On March 3, 2020, an adult male failed to attend court in regards to the following charges:
    •    Possess schedule I x2
    •    Fail to appear
    •    Fail to attend court x2

On March 11, police located the male in the downtown core of the City of Guelph and he was subsequently arrested.

A 49-year-old Guelph male has been additionally charged with:
    •    Fail to re-attend court

He was held in custody pending a bail hearing on March 12.

Female arrested after failing to re-attend court
On March 10, 2020, an adult female failed to appear in court in regards to the following charges:
    •    Occupant in a stolen vehicle
    •    Possession of stolen property over $5,000
    •    Possession of instruments suitable for the purpose of breaking into a vehicle
    •    Possession of stolen property under $5,000

On March 11, police located the female in an apartment building located in the downtown core of the City of Guelph and she was subsequently arrested.

A 38-year-old Guelph female has been additionally charged with:
    •    Fail to appear in court

She will appear in court on April 21.

Female arrested after failing to appear in court
On Feb. 25, 2020, an adult female failed to appear in court in regards to the charge of theft under $5,000.

On March 11 at 1:35 p.m., police located the female in an apartment building located in the downtown core of the City of Guelph and she was subsequently arrested.

A 22-year-old Guelph female has been additionally charged with:
    •    Fail to appear in court

She will appear in court on April 21.
