Guelph Police responded to 206 calls for service

The following news release was issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Teenage Male Arrested For Shoplifting Over $100 Worth Of Alcohol
On Feb. 25, 2020, at 6:18 p.m., a teenage male concealed $108.80 worth of alcohol in his backpack and shoplifted it from a store located near the intersection of Scottsdale Drive and Stone Road West in the City of Guelph.

On March 2, at 8:13 a.m., police located the male near the downtown core and he was subsequently arrested.

A 16 year old Guelph male has been charged with Theft Under $5,000.

He will appear in court on April 15th.

White Subaru Forester Stolen
Some time between 7 p.m. on March 1 and 7:30 a.m. on March 2, 2020, a white 2019 Subaru Forester was taken from the driveway of a residence located near the intersection of Macalister Boulevard and Victoria Road South in the City of Guelph.

Break In To Residential Shed
Some time over the past month, the shed of a residence located near the intersection of Woodland Glen Drive and Downey Road in the City of Guelph was entered. Four bicycles and various tools were taken.
