A B-29 Superfortress FIFI is coming to the Region of Waterloo International Airport next month.

It is one of only two left in the world.

Waterloo Warbirds will host The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) AirPower History Tour, starting August 13.

It will be one of only eight Canadian stops.

Visitors to the ramp can view the aircraft and tour the cockpit. Rides may be purchased in advance at AirPowerTour.org.

Waterloo Warbirds will also have their collection of four Cold War Era Jets on display for the public, including the B-29's Korean War Nemesis, the MiG-15.

Here is the timeline of events for the week:

Monday Aug. 13;

11am - Media on site at Flight Line Services (Hangar 33 next to the Terminal)
12pm - Fifi Arrival and Media tour and BBQ hosted by Waterloo Warbirds
2 - 5pm - Fifi Viewing open to the public 

Tuesday Aug. 14; 

9 - 4pm - Open to the Public 

Wednesday Aug. 15; 

Two Passenger Flights departing at 9am and 10:30am respectively (Weather Permitting) 

Open to Public 9am - 5 pm

Thursday August 16;

Time TBA - Fifi departs for next stop on tour.  No public viewing, though anyone is welcome to watch her take off from public areas of the Airport.  

Admission - $15 Adult $6 for kids 10 and under.
