Established in 1948 as Home Furniture, Lynn and Darlene McClellan of Elora bought the store from Monty Albert in 1989. With furniture and design backgrounds, Lynn and Darlene spent years building a fantastic reputation for selling quality furniture at reasonable prices. They’ve always made sure their customers were provided with a great family owned experience from start to finish. For a number of years Home Furniture was a member of the Home Hardware organization, furniture division, who had also shared the name Home Furniture amongst their chain. After about 10 years the decision was made to expand and leave the group which left an identity question, what do we do about our name to set us apart? Hence “Original Home Furniture” was born!
