Michael Chong was on his way to an easy victory in the riding of Wellington-Halton Hills Monday night.
Chong was declared the winner mid-Monday evening by both CTV and CBC.
With 63 per cent of the polling stations reporting, Chong had 48 per cent of the votes, well ahead of Liberal Lesley Barron who had 28 per cent.
The Green Party's Ralph Martin was third with 12 per cent of the vote.
Chong has won the Wellington-Halton Hills riding all six elections since the riding was created in 2004.
