U of G to host panel discussion on election

Four experts on Canadian politics scheduled to take part

The University of Guelph will host a panel discussion on Thursday that will explore the issues of the federal election.

Experts on Canadian politics will hold the discussion on Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the McLaughlin Library, room 246A.

The event is open to the general public.

Speakers scheduled to take part are: 

•           Ian Spears – associate professor of political science, University of Guelph

•           Tamara Small – associate professor of political science, University of Guelph

•           Matthew Hayday – professor of history, University of Guelph

•           Anna Esselment – associate professor of political science, University of Waterloo

The panelists will examine the campaign process and the topics that have marked this election.
