Adopt Me: Angel loves snuggles and attention (adopted)

She would prefer to be the only cat in the home, but she might do well with a calm dog

GuelphToday, in partnership with the Guelph Humane Society, brings you this feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Meet Angel, a beautiful eight-year-old, domestic short-hair/mix who came into the care of Guelph Humane Society back in July. She is very eager to meet her new family and get settled into a new home.

Angel is an incredibly sweet and affectionate lady! She loves to be pet and given attention. Angel will spoil her new owners with lots of purrs and snuggles.

When Angel first arrived at GHS, she had urinary crystals which was causing her quite a bit of discomfort. However she is now on a special diet and is feeling much better!

In her previous home, Angel had lived with another cat who she did not get along with very well, so she would prefer to be the only kitty in the home. She has also lived with a small dog before, and with proper patience and introduction she would likely do well living with a calm dog in the home.

Angel is such a sweetheart. She can’t wait to meet her new owners, curl up on their lap and give them lots of cuddles!

Come meet Angel today. Visit her at 500 Wellington Street West, Guelph. For more information on Angel, contact GHS at 519-824-3091 or visit our website,
