Adopt Me: Delrose is looking for a calm, quiet home (adopted)

She is FIV positive, but a cat can have FIV and still enjoy a good quality of life
Delrose

GuelphToday, in partnership with Purrfect Companions of Norfolk and My Kitty Cafe, brings you this feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Delrose

Meet Delrose, a lovely two-year-old calico cat.

This sweet and gentle girl purrs as soon as she is petted. She will make someone a wonderful companion and seems best suited to a calm and quiet home.

Delrose enjoys the company of other kitties and adapts quickly in her quiet way to new environments.

She is FIV positive. FIV is only contagious to other felines and cannot be transmitted to humans. A cat can be infected with FIV and enjoy good quality of life for quite some time before developing any complications.

Some cats live a long and healthy life and never have any problems secondary to their FIV Infection. It is recommended that FIV positive cats be adopted into single cat homes or into a home with other FIV positive cats.

All cats at My Kitty Cafe are spayed or neutered, microchipped, vet checked, vaccinations up to date, de-wormed and have pet insurance.

Please contact the Kitty Cafe at (226) 979-5775 or visit their website for more information about adopting Delrose and booking an appointment to meet her.
