Adopt Me: Ginny is a social girl (adopted)

She would do well with respectful kids, and possibly another cat or dog with a calm introduction

GuelphToday, in partnership with the Guelph Humane Society, brings you this feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Ginny

Meet Ginny, a very sweet girl who enjoys her cuddles and head scratches. She likes to help her foster family find the perfect scratching spot behind her ears, before curling up beside them for a nap.

Ginny is a social girl who loves to chat with you, even when carrying her toys around in her mouth! She likes to explore new spaces (sometimes with a toy along for the ride), and asks everyone she can for head rubs.

Ginny has diabetes that is managed well with her medication and special diet – she is great about taking her meds! She has also been diagnosed with a heart condition that GHS staff would be happy to tell you all about.

Ginny could be great with respectful kids, and with a calm introduction could do well with another cat or dog.

Ginny is a beautiful, lovely lady who is looking for a family of her own – could that be you?!

The GHS contactless adoptions have been so successful – they have given over 400 pets a loving #HappyTail during COVID-19! Virtual and/or phone adoption meetings will happen by appointment only.

If you think GINNY would be a good match for your home, check out the GHS contactless adoption process at guelphhumane.ca.

Not able to adopt? Consider donating toward the care of GHS animals at guelphhumane.ca/get-involved/donate.
