Adopt Me: Midnight has big beautiful eyes

He is FIV+ so he would need to be an indoor cat, but that doesn't mean he can't live a long and happy life!

GuelphToday, in partnership with the Guelph Humane Society, brings you this feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Hi, my name is Midnight, it’s so nice to meet you! You were probably drawn in by my beautiful eyes and my adorably big ears. I LOVE to get ear scratches on those ears – almost as much as I love being brushed!

I can usually be found warm and napping in a sunbeam, one of my favourite places to nap. One of my other favourite places to sleep are in bed with my people, especially cozy under the covers.

I am FIV+, but that doesn’t slow me down one bit. I will need to be an indoor cat (which works well for me, that’s where all the cozy sleep spots are), and could do well with other FIV+ cats, or a gentle dog.

I love my food – I’ll make sure to remind you when it’s mealtime! I’m a little nervous in new situations, but with some food and treats, I can be won over quickly. Like I said, I love my food!

I have some stiff back legs, so I am on some medication that allow me to be comfortable, and to run around and jump.

If you’re looking for your favourite new little shadow and a constant companion, look no further!

The GHS contactless adoptions have been so successful – they have given over 800 pets a loving #HappyTail during COVID-19! Virtual and/or phone adoption meetings will happen by appointment only.
