Mowgli
Mowgli is an 11-year-old neutered male Poodle/Terrier mix who is looking for a new home to enjoy his golden years. He currently in a foster home as he has diabetes and requires insulin every 12 hours.
Mowgli is very sweet and enjoys the company of other small dogs. He may be good with larger dogs. He has been fostered with cats and chases them relentlessly so a non-cat home would likely be best unless your cat will tell Mowgli to leave him alone.
Mowgli likes to follow his owner around the house and is quite content to hang out on the couch, yet is still filled with playfulness and joy. However, he does have a shy side.
Being an elderly gentleman he could go to a home with children, but only if they can be gentle with him.
Despite being smaller in size Mowgli has the heart of a lion, unfortunately this means he can become leash aggressive so owner(s) familiar with this behaviour would be encouraged to apply!
We recommend a home with no children less than eight in the home to set him up for success. He also will require some tests every so often to check his levels. Otherwise, he is healthy and happy. He is also on a special diet.
