Sweetie

Hi, I’m Sweetie. I really live up to my name, I’m a gentle, adorable soul – you can see from my photo how cute I am!

I love to sleep, and cuddling is one of my favourite things to do. Throughout the day, I’ll come and find you for ear scratches and pets. I LOVE my pets, and I like to be around my family. All the fun we’ll have!

When I first meet people I am very shy, and may take some to come of my shell. But once I do, I promise, you’ll see how I got the name Sweetie! I’m looking to be an only child (human and animal alike), as loud noises are still scary for me. I’m on medication to help with my anxiety, and would love a family with some experience who can understand my cues when I’m stressed, and help me to relax.

Once I come out of my shell and we get to know each other, I know we will be best friends. I can’t wait to show you how sweet I can be!

The GHS contactless adoptions have been so successful – they have given over 700 pets a loving #HappyTail during COVID-19! Virtual and/or phone adoption meetings will happen by appointment only.

If you think SWEETIE would be a good match for your home, check out the GHS contactless adoption process at guelphhumane.ca.
