Four Guelph deaths so far from COVID-19

There have been 79 confirmed cases in Guelph to date, 27 in Wellington County

According to Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health, eight people in its coverage area have now died as a result of COVID-19, four of them in Guelph.

One of the other deaths was in Wellington County and the other three in Dufferin County.

Guelph has seen 79 confirmed cases to date, with two new ones in the last 24 hours and 16 of the cases being resolved.

Seven Guelph cases are hospitalized, two are in the intensive care unit.

Wellington County has 27 confirmed cases to date, none in the past 24 hours, and nine cases are resolved.

The age breakdown of the Guelph cases is as follows:

20-39: 21

40-59: 23

60-79: 20

80 and over: 15
