Public Health offers the following guidelines when deciding if you should visit a COVID-19 Assessment Centre.
Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health advises people to visit a clinic if they have at least ONE of the following symptoms:
• fever and/or new onset of cough or difficulty breathing
Or at least TWO of the following symptoms:
• chills • fatigue • headache • sore throat • runny nose • stuffy or congested nose • lost sense of smell or taste • hoarse voice • difficulty swallowing • digestive issues (nausea/vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain) or for young children and infants: sluggishness or lack of appetite.
Clinic locations and hours are as follows:
GUELPH: Victoria Road Recreation Centre – 151 Victoria Rd N. Open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily
MOUNT FOREST: Mount Forest Sportsplex - 850 Princess Street. Week of May 4-8: Open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (closed from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m). Closed Saturday and Sunday. Starting Monday, May 11 the clinic will be open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. (closed from 12:30-1:30 p.m). Closed on weekends.
ORANGEVILLE: 140 Rolling Hills Drive via Highway 10 in Orangeville. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
