Two new cases puts active case total in Guelph schools at 10 in five schools

Two new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed at St. Peter Catholic Elementary School on Westwood Road.

Two classrooms have been closed as a result of the positive tests.

St. Peter had a previous case at the beginning of October.

There are currently 10 active cases at five Guelph schools, with all schools remaining open:

- Holy Trinity (four cases, four classrooms closed)

- St. Peter (two cases, two classrooms closed)

- Guelph CVI (two cases, no classrooms closed)

- Kortright Hills (one case, no classrooms closed)

- Willow Road (one case, one classroom closed)

There are also two active cases on the University of Guelph campus, which were confirmed on Oct. 13 and Oct. 16.
