According to statistics provided by Wellington-Guelph-Dufferin Public Health, there have been no new COVID-19 cases confirmed in Guelph for a week.
The last confirmed cases were on July 30, when three were confirmed.
Wellington County had two cases confirmed on Tuesday following the long weekend, Public Health says.
Public Health is currently no longer showing details such as active cases, number of deaths or hospitalized cases. It shows the number of new confirmed cases by date and by location: City of Guelph, Wellington County or Dufferin County.
It should be noted that it is not yet known where one of three cases confirmed in WDGPH coverage area on Tuesday is from.
Provincially there have been 39,809 cases to date, with 35,906 of those resolved.
There have been 2,783 deaths in Ontario to date and 71 people are currently hospitalized, 29 of those in intensive care and 13 on a ventilator.
