UPDATE: Only one institution in Guelph/Wellington County still has a COVID-19 outbreak

No new confirmed cases in past 24 hours, only one in almost a week

According to statistics provided by Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health, the total number of lab-confirmed COVID-19 cases in Guelph and Wellington County to date is 177. Those figures are as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13. There have been eight recorded deaths.

As of Tuesday evening, there is only one institution remaining in Guelph and Wellington County with an outbreak: Norfolk Manor in Guelph, where there have been 29 confirmed cases (22 residents, seven staff) and seven deaths.
