Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph

Since 1968, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph has supported thousands of local children and youth in the communities of Guelph, Aberfoyle, Rockwood Eramosa, Morriston, Ariss and Puslinch. By matching at-promise youth with a trained and trusted adult volunteer mentor, a developmental relationship emerges that helps a child respond to adversities, while igniting their power and potential. Mentoring programs are offered in one-to-one and group-based settings, within the community and in more than 40 local schools.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph is a registered charity that operates through self-directed fundraising initiatives, private donors, small government investments, and the continued support of the United Way Guelph Wellington Dufferin. Whether it be participating as a mentor, a volunteer or organizational ambassador, we offer opportunities for everyone to get involved with the organization to help build awareness about the value and impact of mentoring.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph is committed to education and learnings around equity, diversity and inclusion. We aim to create a sense of belonging by ensuring that our programs and activities are inclusive and accessible, and that our structure is representative of the diverse communities and individuals whom we serve.
