At PIN – The People and Information Network, we bring people, ideas, and information together. We do this through 3 pillars of work:

Volunteer Network

Get involved; it’s good for you and great for everyone! At PIN, we believe that everyone has something to contribute to our community. Our database of volunteer opportunities showcases ways to share your time, talents, skills and generosity of spirit with local nonprofits and charities.

Search by area of interest, by organization or by what’s new are among the ways you can engage with this 24/7 online platform.

We welcome you to create a volunteer profile, sign up for weekly volunteer e-listings and connect with us on social media! FacebookInstagramLinkedinTwitter

Research indicates volunteering is good for you. Meet new friends, enjoy physical activity, volunteer from the comfort of your home. You can make an impact through volunteering right here in your own community. We can help.

Nonprofits and charities need the power of volunteers, even PIN! In partnership with the City of Guelph we offer Snow Angels, a volunteer snow removal service for eligible seniors and persons with physical disabilities. During a significant snow event, after the residential streets are plowed, volunteers visit their match within 24 hours to clear the windrow (the accumulation of snow left at the end of a driveway).
