Fighting Griffin Family Karate

We focus on individual development and life-long learning for our students ages 5 to Adult. Traditional Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate training is our vehicle to teach and reinforce the values of commitment and consistency as path to developing a complete person.  We work hard to offer a nourishing environment that teaches a growth mindset.

Little Griffin Karate (ages 5-6 only)

Our Little Griffin Karate program is designed especially for 5 & 6 year olds. Intended to develop co-ordination, body control, mindfulness & focus. Important skills that prepare students for our Traditional Karate Program once they turn 7.

Traditional Karate (ages 7 - Adult)

Youth ages 7-13
We love teaching karate to kids! Our goal is to build independent, confident, strong minded, resilient people. Karate is the tool we use to foster these traits. Through encouragement to work hard and have fun we teach them the relationship between effort and intrinsic rewards. We motivate students to test their limits physically and mentally so they come to understand their own individual potential.

Teen & Adult
Good values are an integral part of our Traditional Karate Program. Awareness and self-control are all familiar to the martial artist. Students who achieve these qualities have been known to avoid confrontations and defuse potentially hostile situations.

Teen and Adult students (ages 14 & up) will increase awareness and develop the ability to effectively protect themselves by being introduced to the self-defensive concepts of Traditional Karate.

At Fighting Griffin Family Karate we understand the benefits of blending traditional and modern training concepts into an inclusive martial arts program.
