Crews are busy bringing a couple of Watson Parkway North development projects to fruition, including a commercial plaza with a McDonald’s restaurant.
The fast food chain is currently hiring staff for its pending location at 455 Watson Pkwy. N. – seeking workers for overnight, late night, early morning, day and evening shifts.
Attempts to reach someone from McDonald’s Canada were not immediately successful.
A gas station and car wash along with other commercial uses are also planned for the location.
“You will be hired, trained and scheduled full-time hours until the new site opens later this year,” states an online job posting.
The development plan, brought forward by a numbered company, will see a commercial plaza built on the southeast corner of the intersection with Eastview Road. In addition to a McDonald’s and gas station, it is to include a car wash, convenience store and other retail uses.
Immediately south of that property, at 425 Watson Pkwy. N. efforts are underway to construct a nine-storey, 139-unit apartment building with an underground parking level.
