Christmas skies will be cloudy with a few flurries beginning in the morning and local blowing snow accumulating 2 to 4 cm.

Winds are west at 40 km/h, gusting to 70 and the daytime high temperature is minus 6C.

Overnight skies are partly cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of flurries and more local blowing snow.

Temperatures fall to a low of minus 15C but will feel more like minus 26C with the wind chill.
