Dirk Sepers

Dirk,
You were my rock, so much of my life you celebrated with me through good fortune; stayed close through my strife, You always made sure I knew you loved me; Always made sure I knew you'd be there. It wasn't 'all talk' with you. You were never a smiling face...hiding lack of care. Always, and even when you were miffed with me you sifted through whatever you needed to, so you could, and so you would, be there for me.
And there you were.
Always

...until Alzheimer brought its assassins and thusly stood in your way, and then you could no longer speak what you wanted to say ...And with your puppy eyes all sad, you knew our time was had: You knew it was time for you to go And I prayed fervently and stronger than ever before that God remove you from the assassins, to suffer no more - even though it be so, as it is. And that prayer was a score... To be thankful for February 12 2020, your heavenly birthday.
All could seem gone but it was already gained; Not a drop of love was lost through the Assassin's cost of suffering. It could erase neither love nor connection, nor heart, that was there from the start when as a child, I met you and recognized you as my dear brother. I sure do miss YOU though, and yea, your smiling face.
I thank you for your visits
I thank you for your heart
I'll thank you eternal for that major part you played and still play in my life. Dear brother, God bless you all ways, in more ways you could ever dream of... Always.
You're there and fine, and still in my heart as ever you will be:
I'll see you, later, again and I pray I'll be all that you've been, to me.
Forever grateful I remain, your earthly and soul's sister, Mare (Marja Jacoba Sepers)
