GuelphToday received the following Letter to the Editor in response to an earlier article posted on GuelphToday and the photo used with that article.
*************************
On Thursday, Aug. 25, I was reading an article on guelphtoday.com about the two-car crash that occurred Wednesday, Aug. 26 on Eramosa Road, and I discovered that the headlining photo for the article is of a blonde woman standing in front of a destroyed vehicle.

Upon zooming in to see the photo clearer, I noticed that she is holding up both middle fingers at the camera.

I, and I'm sure many others, am finding this photo very offensive with regards to what the article pertains. Car accidents are serious and traumatizing experiences, and it seems highly irresponsible and disrespectful to edit an article, and then continue to include such a distasteful photo in the final post.

Please consider removing this specific photo.

Thank you.
