CENTRE WELLINGTON – On September 7, 2023, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began an investigation into a historical sexual assault that allegedly occurred at a residence within Wellington County. As a result, a 13-year-old from Centre Wellington, has been charged with sexual assault contrary to the Criminal Code. The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of justice - Guelph, at a later date.
