NEWS RELEASE
WEATHER CANADA
*************************
Current details:
Lake effect snow squalls possible again Sunday.

Hazards:
Additional local snowfall accumulations near 15 cm by Sunday night.
Very poor visibility in bursts of heavy snow and local blowing snow.

Timing:
Sunday afternoon and evening.

Discussion:
While flurries off Lake Huron will continue today, the worst of the snow squalls will remain north of the area. Lake effect snow squalls will shift southward through the region again Sunday. Travel may be difficult to nearly impossible at times under these snow squalls. As is common with snow squalls, snowfall amounts will be highly variable.

Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably; changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common. Travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather. Road closures are possible.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to [email protected] or tweet reports using #ONStorm.
