Ornge air ambulance was called to Guelph Friday morning following a serious collision at the intersection of Stone Road East and South Ring Road, just east of Gordon Street and across from the Village By The Arboretum.
Police are still investigating and haven't released details, but the incident appeared to involve a pedestrian and an SUV. The incident occurred in or near a crosswalk.
The incident occurred around 10:15 a.m. Friday morning. Police were still on scene investigating at 11:30 a.m.
Access to Stone Road from the U of G campus at South Ring Road is currently closed. Stone Road Road East remains open to traffic with reduced lanes.
