Almost 2,400 customers in Wellington County still without power (Updated)

UPDATE: 11:15 a.m.

Power has been restored to 769 customers south and east of Guelph. Power remains out to 1,544 customers west of Guelph.

According to Hydro One and Guelph Hydro there are still almost 2,400 customers without power in the area as of 10:30 a.m. Monday.

Only six of those customers- on a section of Watson Parkway - are in the city. The rest are in the rural parts of Wellington County.

There are 769 customers affected west of Guelph, along County Road 124 as you head out of town and then south towards Highway 401.

Another 769 customers south of Clair Road are without power, mostly in Puslinch Township extending south to Highway 401.

Estimated restoration of power for the two big outages is listed as 11 p.m. Monday.
