The 16th annual Art on the Street takes place Saturday, June 23, as nearly 100 established and emerging artists take over Quebec Street and the Quebec Street parking lot to show off their original works.
Starting at 10 a.m. and running until 5 p.m., visitors can walk this open-air art gallery in the beautiful and historic setting. Ceramics, jewellery, acrylic paintings, photography, textiles and much more will be on display, accompanied by the artists who made them.
For those with young children, St George’s Square will be transformed into the Children’s Arts Festival. As usual, it’s all about the kids making the art. Join the Children’s Art Factory, Guelph School of Art, Play with Clay, the Guelph Public Library and the Suzuki String School of Guelph as they fill the space with creative activities.
The event is free.
