Wellington Brewery’s event Queen of Craft is teaming up with professional female wrestlers from the Pure Wrestling Association to fundraise for the Guelph-Wellington Women in Crisis called Gorgeous Ladies of Beer.

The event will include 10 participating Ontario craft breweries available to sample while the wrestlers take on the ring to represent different breweries such as Bellwoods, Great Lakes, Merit, Block 3 and Red Circle.

Wellington Brewery calls this their final and most elaborate Queen of Craft event yet.

“We are lucky to have the support of the talented women of the PWA who will be reppin’ their brewery in the ring,” said Queen of Craft organizer Karyn Boscariol in a press release.

A wrestling workshop will also take place in the afternoon for women who want to learn some tricks on the ropes.

Profits from the event will go to the Guelph-Wellington Women-In-Crisis centre.

Gorgeous Ladies of Beer will take place on March 29. at 7 p.m. at the Red Chevron in Guelph. Tickets can be purchased here
