The Flaming Lips, Carly Rae Jepsen and Blue Rodeo will headline an exciting three-day lineup for this summer's Riverfest Elora 2018 music festival.
The festival kicks off Friday Aug. 17 with July Talk, Wolf Parade and Guelph’s Royal Castles on the main stage.
Continuing a Riverfest tradition, local bagpiper Peter Piper will take to the main stage to open each festival day.
On Saturday, Aug. 18, the Flaming Lips, Carly Rae Jepsen, The Beaches, Rawlins Cross and Elora’s own The Bearskins will take to the main stage.
Blue Rodeo headlines the final day of the festival on Sunday, Aug. 19. Also playing the main stage Sunday are Dear Rouge, Bedouin Soundclash, Weaves, Leeroy Stagger and Lee Watson of Elora.
Artists playing the second stage, called The Koop, include: Carole Pope, Rich Aucoin, Cuff the Duke, Ariana Gillis, Born Ruffians, Ralph and The Creepshow, among others.
The weekend will feature after parties on the Friday and Saturday, including My Son the Hurricane playing the Elora Legion Branch 229 and Fergus’ Rich Burnett playing The Porchlight Lounge.

Riverfest Elora is held at Bissell Park on the bank of the Grand River in Elora and features camping, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks and three stages of music.
2018 marks the tenth year of Riverfest Elora, which was founded in 2009 by Elora artist Marilyn Koop, who died in 2012.
