Get your vehicle washed and help a good cause at the same time.
Beyond Borders, a student leadership program in the Upper Grand District School Board, is hosting a car wash Thursday from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Montana's on Stone Road West.
Fifty per cent of the proceeds will go towards the Canadian Women's Breast Cancer Association.
The other half of the proceeds will benefit the local Beyond Borders program.
"October is right around the corner," said Jenna Davey, one of the students hosting the event.
"And in order to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the remarkable progress that has been made against breast cancer, we will be donating to funding high performance research that improves cancer outcomes."
Donations will be accepted by cash or cheque. Baked goods will also be available for customers.
