Chamber to host keynote address on climate change

On Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018, the Guelph Chamber of Commerce in partnership with TradeForce Tech will host the Guelph Economic Leadership Forum On Climate Change: Managing Risk and Building Resilience. Noted thought leader and president and CEO at The Co-operators, Rob Wesseling will be the keynote speaker.

“Rob is a leading voice in Canada on building resilience in the face of climate change,” says Kithio Mwanzia, president and CEO at the Guelph Chamber of Commerce. “As The Co-operators leads the way in revolutionizing how businesses and governments think about climate change and resilience, his insights will be valuable for our ever-growing businesses and community at large,” adds Mwanzia.

The Guelph Economic Leadership Forum On Climate Change presents Guelph with a new approach to thinking about the economy, businesses and our community. The Guelph Economic Leadership Forum On Climate Change: Managing Risk and Building Resilience. will take place on Thursday, Jan. 18, from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Delta Guelph Hotel and Conference Centre.
