Mr. Chris and the Gassy Bubbles.

Chris Torti, aka Mr. Chris, worked with children and families for 17 years.

According to Torti's website, he discovered a new calling "while facilitating large parent/child circles for the Ontario Early Years Centre."

Despite having an Early Childhood Education diploma and Honours degree, by 2005, he decided to refocus to children’s music and puppetry.

Joining forces with his childhood friend, Danny Gaudio, together they created a kid-friendly band, The Gassy Bubbles.

In 2007, Torti and his band of merry puppeteers released their very first Gassy Bubbles studio album, Dance Shake Rattle & Roll, and took the show on the road.

The Gassy Bubbles began performing at schools, libraries, community centres, festivals and fairs. Primarily focusing on fun and educational songs, Torti discovered there was a "problem existing within schools and local communities; bullying." So he wrote a song to address the issue and was nominated for a Premier’s Award.

Most recently, Torti and his band created his ultimate dream album: ‘A Space Bubbles Odyssey’.

Mr. Chris & The Gassy Bubbles will be bringing their energetic and fun songs to the Guelph Public Library - Westminster Square on

Recommended for children ages 3 to 7 years.
